Corrective Actions

Findings that don't quietly disappear.

Turn every non-conformance into a tracked action with an owner and a due date.

One queue
Across every site you operate
Owners & dates
On every action raised
Per-action chat
Discussion stays with the work
From failure to closure

Every non-conformance has a paper trail.

The link from the control that failed to the action that fixed it is preserved, so next cycle you can see what was done about it.

  1. 1

    Question fails

An auditor answers no to a control during the audit.

  2. 2

    Finding raised

That failure becomes a finding, linked back to the question that produced it.

  3. 3

    Action assigned

A corrective action gets an owner, a priority and a due date.

  4. 4

    Worked

Progress and discussion happen on the action itself, not in email.

  5. 5

    Resolved

Closed out, with the trail from original control to resolution intact.

Where an action can sit

Open
In progress
Resolved
Overdue

Open, in progress, resolved, overdue

One queue for the whole programme, with the counts that matter at the top. Overdue is called out rather than left for you to work out from dates.

  • 1Findings raised directly from the audit question that failed
  • 2Filter by status and priority across every site
  • 3Overdue tracked explicitly, not buried in a date column
  • 4Counts for open, in progress, resolved and overdue at a glance

Accountability

Who owns it, by when.

A named owner, always

Actions belong to a person, not a department. Unassigned work is visible as unassigned rather than implicitly everyone's problem.

Due dates and priority

Set a priority and a date. Anything past its date is surfaced as overdue on the dashboard instead of needing a report to find.

Discussion on the action

Each action carries its own chat thread, so the context for why something was done sits with the record rather than in someone's inbox.

Nothing closes silently

An action is resolved by the person who owns it, and the trail from the control that failed to the work that fixed it stays intact for the next audit cycle.
